This song was put together from a piece of an old number I wrote which was intended for The Stranglers to record but it never worked with them. It is a less dark observation of humanities' invasion of everything around it, trying to bend all the rules all of the time. It's really the planet saying "well, okay, if that's what you think then go ahead, see if I care"!
