Brad Waissman
Bass, Double Bass
 Originally trained as a classical guitarist from the age of 6 -
he still works frequently playing classical and flamenco guitar.
Turned professional as a bass player ten years ago most of
his work
has been as a session player on countless jingles and sessions for
Rykodisc and Warner Brothers amongst others, as well as film soundtrack
work including Metroland (with Emily Watson and Christian Bale). Last year
recorded tracks for two Rick Wakeman albums (White Rock II and Themes),
and has also recorded for Leee John (Imagination).
As well as working with Paul, he works with Marcus Malone, a
blues/rock singer from Detroit. Has supported B.B. King, Nina Simone and Ben Harper.
Has toured all over the world.
Other work includes session work with two new bands, one for
Rondor and another for Zomba records. And did you buy "7 Days", the single by Craig
David, released on the 24th July 2000. Brad featured on the remix. He
joined the Waterboys in 2003 for about a
year and also recorded with the Funky Low
Lives, an instrumental dance band, until
now.
Brad's latest venture is called the Joff
Wink's Band, an originals band who are on
their second record and have strong links
with the US West Coast music scene.
